about
Hi! I'm Danielle Hoverman, and the one thing that everyone knows about me is that I'm an adventure junkie. I love to travel to new places, experience new cultures, try new food, and meet new people.
You may have read a lot of travel blogs of people who are full-time nomads — people who sold everything to pursue a life of travel. That's not me. I have a full-time job working in marketing with an apartment lease and student loan payments from my MBA program. Balancing adult life with my love of travel is a challenge, but when you're super passionate about something, you'll do whatever it takes to make it work.

I'm not your typical travel blogger, so I hope you can find my articles and stories relatable, authentic, and inspiring.

why I travel
Since traveling around the world, I have learned things from the places I've visited, the people I've met, and the experiences I've had that have all helped bring me to this point of understanding other people's perspectives and personal growth.
Every time I travel I learn something new. It expands my perspective on culture, race, and religion — it challenges me to think differently. It makes me appreciate my life and what I have. And, it builds and strengthens my relationships with those I travel with and myself.

Over the years I've found that traveling pushes you to new places of personal growth. It forces you to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, and when you're uncomfortable, you grow.

a strong desire to travel.

I have a strong desire to experience cultures and meet new people. I believe that continually growing and developing into a better person involves experiencing people and things outside of our everyday comfort and understanding.

To be rooted in something means to have developed from something and be strongly influenced by it. Traveling has deepened my understanding of cultures and people and continues to evolve my view the world. As long as I am still learning, evolving, and growing through my experiences, I will continue to travel.
